Guardiola exploded against Ronald Koeman for the signing that FC Barcelona wants to rob him
The Catalan head coach is tired of Koeman and his intentions to steal him this player from Manchester City.
FC Barcelona are going through a very deep financial crisis, which prevents them from spending millions in the transfer window, as they were used to doing in the past. The bad economic situation forced the Catalan club to look for players who may be arriving as free agents after the expiration of their contracts.
One of those players is Eric García, the center defender from Manchester City whose contract expires on June 2021 at his 20 years old and wants to move back to Barça. Even though the move will be happening in six months, Ronald Koeman has insisted on having him with them right now, what would imply a purchase of around $15 million.
Pep Guardiola was asked several times about the fact of García moving to Barcelona and this Friday exploded after a new question and said that he is no longer talking about that. The manager explained that the transfer window will end soon and that until now the player will be staying with them.
García was formed in La Masía, but Barcelona decided to sell him on July 2017 for just $2 million to Manchester City. After 31 matches played with the first team of the English side, the defender is convinced on moving back to Barça and there is nothing that make his mind change.
