It was recently seen how Tottenham Hotspur coach José Mourinho reprimanded welsh Winger Gareth Bale. They were discussing in a training session and Mourinho asked him if he wanted to remain in Tottenham or to go back to Real Madrid where he would be sitting in the bench. The truth is that in case he left he would not see much of a difference comparing to his current season in England.

The 31-year-old has barely seen any action after playing in only six games out of 22 Tottenham has played in the current English Premier League season. And from those six just one was from the start. He is on loan until June 30 and will become a free agent one year after, given his contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30, 2022.

After Tottenham was knocked out of the FA Cup on Wednesday by losing 5-4 against Everton Mourinho had to explain that Bale was not considered for the match because of fitness issue. Following that, the player shared an Instagram post of the team traveling to the stadium without him. On the post he included a photo of himself training claiming he was in perfect conditions.

The coach stated the team played against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday and he did not play but suddenly he went to the training session on Monday and claimed to have some strange feeling in a muscle and asking for a scan. On Tuesday after missing Monday’s training, he was back with the team, but Mourinho was informed the player wanted to be with the science team.
