The tournament concluded same as with many rumors about the possible signings by the Chivas de Guadalajara board. At some point the team managers thought of renewing Alejandro Mayorga's loan, who was with Pumas this last season and bringing in exchange the midfielder Andres Iniestra as well as the winger Alan Mozo plus a considerable sum of money, however the board announced that they were withdrawing the offer.

In recent days the Chivas de Guadalajara board of directors led by Ricardo Pelaes as well as the coach Victor Manuel Vucetich, went in search of quality mexican midfielders who could reinforce the team for the next tournament Clausura 2021. Their main prospects were in Pumas UNAM squad; However, after many talks, no arrangement was reached, so apparently Chivas will play with the same squad with which they finished in this season plus César Huerta who will return to the institution once his loan period with Mazatlán FC ended.

The left back Alejandro Mayorga is another of those who would return to Chivas de Guadalajara after not extending his loan with Pumas, however the player has no desire to return to Guadalajara, he really wants to continue with Pumas, so he expectes that the negotiation in order to extend the loan period be satisfactory and can continue with those managed by the coach Andrés Lillini.
