As much as managers downplay that it is them versus their counterparts, it can not be stated enough that whoever wins the tactical battle among the managers will have his team with it, so it's always one manager vs the other. Tomorrow, it is Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti vs the Dutch manager Ronald Koeman.

Without any iota of doubt, Carlo Ancelotti is the better manager but despite the much talked about crisis of FC Barcelona, there are just two points separating the two sides which obviously establish the fact that the superiority of Carlo Ancelotti to Ronald Koeman is not well expressed and should Barcelona nick a win tomorrow, they will move ahead of Real Madrid.

The two managers have met four times when Carlo Ancelotti was at AC Milan and Ronald Koeman was at Ajax. Carlo Ancelotti won three of the matches while the other one ended in a draw. In colloquial terms, Koeman is still waiting for his first win over Carlo Ancelotti while the Italian manager is looking for his first win at Camp Nou.

"Having never won in the Camp Nou, I think now is the time. But, it won’t be easy. There are three points in play, but they’re just three points. There will be many points to fight for over the remainder of the season, not just against Barcelona.” he said about having never won at Camp Nou before
