The German team is still looking for a coach after the Euro cup and several candidates appear on the horizon. In this list, it is impossible to delete Klopp despite the refusal he gave a few weeks ago. However, the Liverpool coach spoke again on the subject and clarified what he will do when he leaves the Premier League club, and that "it is an agreement that I have", assured.

In an interview with Lothar Matthäus for Sport Bild, Jurgen Klopp explained why he cannot take over for Germany. "I did not say that I do not want to be a national coach, what I said is that I cannot. There is a big difference. I have a very clear commitment to Liverpool. I've been around for six years and we trust each other. It will certainly be a great honor to be a national coach, but this is not the right time. I can't ”, declared the DT.

However, the German coach warned that he has already decided what he will do when he leaves his position at Liverpool. I will have a sabbatical year. If you don't change the mindset of the club owners, I'll take a year off. There are no buts. This is an agreement that I have with my family and probably also with my family doctor ", warned the coach.

Nevertheless, Klopp was encouraged to throw the name of his own candidate to run for the team after Joachim Löw left office. "I think Ralf Rangnick is an exceptional coach", confessed the Premier League manager. Thus, the former Borussia Dortmund scored the former RB Leipzig coach on the list of possible national coaches.

Jurgen Klopp's season in Liverpool

The Liverpool manager is not going through his best moment since he took over the 'Reds'. In fact, currently the last Premier League champion is in sixth position in the local tournament with 46 units and is being left out of the European competitions next season. However, he remains alive in the Champions League, where he will face Real Madrid in the quarterfinals.
