Despite the fact New York Red Bulls are contending in the upper half of the Eastern Conference, it seems that results are not enough. Different critics start to appear into Chris Armas' team, specially because results are not the expected at this moment of the season. However, the head coach reacted to the negative comments.

“I think there are questions probably when they see the lineup (without Kaku), but I didn’t hear a lot after (the win against New York FC),” Armas said. “It seems like when the Red Bulls lose, there’s a lot of talk. We win a Supporters’ Shield, we don’t hear much. We win a derby match, we don’t really hear much besides it’s another controversial win". The Red Bulls still did not win the MLS Cup and their beginning of season is not the best.

After winning three Supporter Shields in 2013, 2015 and 2018, fans of of Manhattan want to see their team lift the most prestigious trophy in US soccer. However, New York Red Bulls upset again yesterday when they got defeated again in their visit to Philadelphia. Is Armas position wobbling?
