Pep Guardiola is likely to leave Manchester City in January. The Spanish coach and the English club are negotiating a new contract, but nothing is confirmed yet. Therefore, Pep Guardiola, whose contract ends in June 2021, could be interested in other offers in December.

In case the former Barcelona coach does not extend the agreement with Manchester City, the executives of the English club would already have decided who are the main candidates to replace him: Mauricio Pochettino and Julian Nagelsmann, who is the current coach of RB Leipzig.

According to Pep Guardiola in a press conference, the team needs to buy a forward to compete with the Argentinian Sergio Aguero, the Brazilian Gabriel Jesus and the English Raheem Sterling. Therefore, the coach who replaces Guardiola would take into account that warning.

According to the news website Fichajes, the City would be interested in the Mexican Raul Jimenez, who is going through one of the best moments of his career as a footballer at Wolverhampton. In total, the forward has scored 48 goals and given 18 assists in 106 games with the English club.
