Diego Simeone has been in Atletico Madrid for more than 10 years, He's been coaching the Madrid Club since 2011/2012 season and has achieved a lot for the club.

He has led the club to two UEFA Champions League Finals. Two La Liga victories. One Spanish Club winner. One Spanish Super Cup, Two Europa League, Two UEFA Super Cup Winner. His achievements at Atletico Madrid in 11 years in charge is not talked about enough.

He is the only one that has been able to break the dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona, he has built a formidable team to play against in the last few years but lately Atletico Madrid is like its shadow, a team that won the La Liga last year is now finding it difficult to win matches.

Both in the La Liga and UEFA Champions League. They now sit fourth of the table and were beaten both home and away in the Champions League by Liverpool. They bottled a 3-1 win against Valencia to draw 3-3, conceding added minutes goals. Should Diego Simeone step aside as Atletico Madrid manager and let the team breathe a new air, a new dispensation. He took the blame for the draw against Valencia admitting he caused the team 2 points. Maybe this should be his last season for Atletico Madrid?
