Germany and Denmark have already qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar having set up an unassailable lead in their respective groups and whatever the outcome of their remaining group game is, it is inconsequential.

Germany will play Liechtenstein tonight, a country they could ordinarily field a weak 11 for but having already qualified for the global mundial and also have five players in isolation after Niklas Sule tested positive to Covid-19.

His positive result puts a spotlight on his Bayern Munich teammates. The DFB failed to release the identity of the players in isolation but Germany media Bild reports that Joshua Kimmich who is yet to be vaccinated is one of them.

Hansi Flick could opt to field a weaker squad against the lowly ranked European country and at the same time could also opt for a stronger squad to ensure they win the remaining games and have some respect in the group standings.
