Real Madrid is looking unstoppable as they have linked up their second straight victory with Girona’s defeat in today’s match, and have now displaced Girona and FC Barcelona to the third and second positions respectively. Real Madrid has retaken their undefeated streak and looks forward to increasing their record.

With great goals scored by Joselu (minute 17’), Tchoumeni with a great hat-trick on the 21’, and Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid’s top striker and brought from Borussia Dortmund, with the third and definitive point of the match at the 71’, all together made a great performance and have now placed at the top of the standings.

Their undefeated streak was taken by Atletico Madrid on Sunday 24th in the Classic Metropolitan Derby, when they awfully fell in a 3-1 match. Nevertheless, Carlo Ancelotti’s team looks forward to prevail as the top leader of La Liga's standings and be the main contender to conquer the Spaniard tournament. Girona wasn't able to make any harm or even jeopardize Real Madrid's goal line, and when they had the chance, Kepa made an unbelievable stop to keep a clean sheet.

At the end of the matchup Nacho Fernandez was expelled from the match (90+5') due to rough entrance over a Girona player and a beef was about to start due to the Spanish defender's fault, at the end, both parties got separated and Real Madrid finally won the game.

What’s next for Real Madrid?

Real Madrid wants to forget their disastrous match against Atletico Madrid where they unfortunately lost their undefeated streak but retain their position in the third place of the standings. But with today's victory over Girona send a clear message to all the other clubs. The Merengues couldn't win against Girona at Montilivi Stadium since 2018.

Real Madrid’s will have a not so difficult schedule ahead as they will face Calcio Napoli for their second UEFA Champions League appointment on Wednesday October the 4th (which will be their most challenging match); next up will face Osasuna for the ninth week of La Liga on Saturday the 7th; and for October 21st will go up against Sevilla.
