Mexican striker Henry Martín's close to renewing his contract with América, which ends at the end of this year. The footballer has become the top scorer for the Águilas and in recent years he won the starting position against elements such as Roger Martínez, Nicolás Castillo and Federico Viñas, who have suffered ups and downs over the past years.

Henry Martín arrived at América for the Closing 2018 and due to his actions the leadership decided to renew it in 2019 to ensure his permanence in the ranks of the institution. The footballer ends his current contract at the end of the Apertura 2021, so the club decided to anticipate any situation and reached a pre-agreement with the footballer to ensure his stay beyond this year.

During his time in America, Henry adds 48 goals in 132 commitments, in addition to 19 assists. Sources told ESPN that one of the points the forward sought was a salary improvement due to his contribution on the pitch under the reins of Miguel Herrera and currently with Santiago Solari, by becoming the team's scorer in Guard1anes 2021. The 28-year-old center forward has also become a constant in the Mexican National Team in the last year.

Those who would leave America in the next transfer market

Giovani Dos Santos and Sergio Díaz would be America's first casualties for the next tournament. Both players end a contract with Azulcremas and the leadership would not be interested in renewing them. Gio, who only played 276 minutes in the current Liga MX tournament, would not have convinced Solari, while Díaz wasn't taken into account by the coach throughout the semester since he did not play a single minute in the contest .

The third casualty could be Jordan Silva, who was on loan for this tournament and his contract is ending soon. Nor would the board of directors have any intention of retaining the player who joined the Coapa team at the beginning of the year. Silva played 217 minutes in the 2021 Guardians.
