Since its foundation in 1902, Real Madrid has always worn a white shirt, a color that has accompanied it since its origins, a color that is particular to the merengue, a typical product of Madrid's confectioneries.
Real Madrid was founded on March 6, 1902 by Julián Palacios and the brothers Juan and Carlos Padrós, as a sports society. It is currently considered one of the strongest teams in the European League, in its long history it has won numerous titles, including: 33 Leagues, 6 World Cups, 4 Super Cups, among others, and has even been named by FIFA as the Best Club of the 20th Century.
On March 6, 1902 Real Madrid, a sports society, later the team's board of directors in the hands of Julián Padrós proposed to the then mayor of Madrid, Alberto Aguilera, the formation of the first Spanish soccer tournament, this competition was established in honor of H.M. King Alfonso XIII.
The tournament was held at the Hippodrome, in which five sporting societies participated; after this the Spanish Cape was created, the Real won four titles in the first six seasons.
