Manchester United has been miserable in this season, the fans are angry, expectations were cut short but the board seems to be pleased with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Defensively Manchester United are having a nightmare having £80 million Harry Maguire at the heart of the defence, £50 million Wan-Bissaka and Champions League veteran Raphael Varane as an addition. Manchester United are just going from worse to worse.

In the Premier League Manchester United ranked 13th in terms of clean sheets kept this season having kept just two clean sheets. Sharing the spot with relegation battle clubs.

What contributed to this is the inability of Manchester United to coordinate the team defence in terms of interception and clearance. Manchester United has just 193 clearance so far this season and ranked 16th in the league. Coupled with two own goals which makes them the team with the most goal conceded.
