After several years of endless joy, the moment of glory for Liverpool's trident is about to see its end. The three players end their contract in 2023. In the summer of 2017, with the signing of Mohamed Salah, Klopp's Liverpool created one of the deadliest offensive tridents in football history. The Egyptian player joined Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino, who had signed for the 'red' team one and two seasons earlier, respectively.

The three attackers were brought in for an amount close to 40 million euros and, sooner rather than later, they showed Liverpool fans the great success that the directive of the Red team had made in signing them. However, without Jürgen Klopp on the Anfield bench, nothing would have been possible.

With the dynamic and dizzying game proposed by the German coach, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah they swelled to score and assist each other goals, which led them to catapult themselves as one of the best attacking tridents in modern football history.

With them three on the pitch, Liverpool once again raised a Champions League after many years of drought, and it could have been two but they fell in the final against Real Madrid. They also managed to win the Premier League, a title that Liverpool had not achieved since 1990.

Like everything in life, everything has an end. The three players have a current contract with Liverpool, but it ends in 2023. Now the rumors begin. Next June, when there is only one year left on their contract, will Liverpool renew their attackers?
