Chelsea won their midweek UEFA Champions League match against Malmö FC of Sweden 4-0 but sacrificed their two strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner who were both injured in the 22nd and 44th minute respectively. The incident left Chelsea with no recognised striker with only Kai Havertz as the makeshift striker.

They returned to the Premier League action this weekend and made absolute joke of their striker injuries by thrashing Norwich City 7-0 with the goals coming from a Mason Mount hattrick, Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James also got on the score sheet while Max own goal completed the beating.

Kai Havertz who led the line for Chelsea had the most disappointing day in the match, he hardly put any feet wrong in the match and should Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner spend more time on the sideline, he can't be trusted to lead the line. Chelsea ended the match with Mason Mount as the false number 9.

It was the biggest win of Thomas Tuchel era at Chelsea and to think it was done with a recognised striker it was commendable. Thomas Tuchel has made his Chelsea team so adaptable that they have had 17 different players score their 23 goals this season and could do well without a striker.
