Eduardo Vargas will leave Tigres after four extraordinary years in the Monterrey club. He will join Brazilian Atletico Mineiro, where his former coach at the Chilean national team, Jorge Sampaoli, is currently coaching. There where many reasons that motivates Eduardo Vargas to decide to leave the club.

First of all it must be said that Eduardo Vargas was sold and did not just part ways with Tigres UANL by himself. The forward was about to expire his contract and wasn't willing to renovate, so Tigres decide to accept an offer of just two million dollars from Mineiro so they could take something out of Vargas.

Now, in Brazil, Vargas will earn an impressive salary of two million dollars per year. That means that Vargas will have almost a European salary during his tenure in Brazil. He will also try to win the Copa Libertadores, which he hasn't been able to do until now.

During his four years in the Felinos he played 142 games, scored 42 goals and delivered 18 assists. He is the eleventh top scorer of all-time for Tigres. And has won the impressive number of five titles with the Felinos. Now, Turboman will challenge himself to keep achieving things, now in Brazil.
