The European soccer superstar who could play alongside André-Pierre Gignac in Tigres

In recent years, Tigres has been one of the Mexican Liga MX clubs with the greatest economic potential. For this reason, the club is used to hiring stars like André-Pierre Gignac. Now, the team led by Ricardo Tuca Ferretti is debating how they can manage to sign a European soccer superstar to play alongside with the Frenchman on the team. 

This is none other than Mesut Ozil, the Arsenal player who won the 2014 Brazil World Cup. He was dropped out from both the Premier League and the Europa League squads by the coach Mikel Arteta. Therefore, the 32-year-old German midfielder could be hired by Tigres next season. 

The twitter account "Tigres VS", which is followed by thousands of fans of the Mexican team, asked if Mesut Ozil would be an appropriate player for Tigres. Most of the fans agreed that Ozil should go to Tigres. Although the player has a high salary, that would not be a problem for the club.

Ozil is linked by contract with Arsenal until June 2021. He has been playing for the English team since the 2013-2014 season. In total, he has scored 47 goals and gave 77 assists in 227 games. In addition, he also played in Schalke 04 (2006-2008), Werder Bremen (2008-2011) and Real Madrid (2011-2014).
