Let's look at how one of the most famous soccer stadiums in the world, Santiago Bernabeu, compares with the biggest stadium in the USA. Santiago Bernabeu is home to European Giant Real Madrid.

 

It's full name in Spanish is Estadio Santiago Bernabéu and it was named after former Real Madrid President Santiago Bernabéu. The stadium was built between October 1944 to December 1947 with a current capacity of 81,004. It is the third largest stadium in Top flight Europe after Camp Nou and Westfalenstadion.

 

The Biggest stadium in the USA is the Michigan stadium nicknamed "The Big House" it is the football stadium for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is the largest stadium in the United States and the third largest stadium in the world. 

 

The Big House was opened on the first of October 1927. It was built for an original price of $950,000 equivalent to $11.4 million as of 2019 compared to Santiago Bernabeu which cost €1,732,943 and renovated with more than half a billion Euro in recent. The big house holds a record for the largest soccer attendance game in the United States when a sell-out crowd of 109,318 watched Manchester United defeat Real Madrid 3-1 in an International Champions Cup match On Saturday August 2, 2014.
