The match between Chelsea and Manchester United is the second match after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjær and the installation of Michael Carrick as the caretaker manager. It could be Carrick's last with Ralf Rangnick expected to take over before the next game.

Chelsea will host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge and will want to erase a lot of bad records having not won against United in the Premier League since 2017 and having not scored since 2019. Thomas Tuchel clearly understands the job ahead of him today and would also want to increase their lead at the top of the table.

Chelsea's matchday tickets are from £25 to £71 and the stadium has a capacity of over 40,000. The UK government now allows full capacity at stadiums after a long battle with the coronavirus pandemic and increasing vaccination which means Chelsea expects a full house.

Chelsea had a decrease in their matchday revenue last season due to Covid but numbers are expected to go up this season and with at least a crowd of over 40,00 expected with an average ticket price of £25, Chelsea is expected to generate at least £1,025,000 from ticket sales.
