Sergio Ramos overcame a calf injury that has kept him out of action since May and also kept him out of Euro2020 to finally make his PSG debut against St Etienne, playing the full 90 minutes as PSG came from behind to win 2-1.
Real Madrid decided to move Ramos on after 15 years despite weeks of speculation on whether he'd renew or not. He spent most of last season out injured and at 34 Madrid felt there was nothing more he could offer and decided to get his huge wages off their list.
PSG signed him on a 2years contract and according to Marca gave him a salary of €21m per season and over €400,000 per week, an outrageously high salary and is only behind Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappé on the club's payroll.
He signed for the Paris club in July and has spent about 15 weeks at the club meaning he has accumulated a salary of over €6m before he even kicked a ball for the club. It doesn't sound like the best investment from the club over a player who appeared far from being fit today.
