Henry Martin is a 28-year-old Mexican striker who currently plays for Club America in the Mexican Liga BBVA MX. He is also a full Mexican international, making his debut for the El Tri on September 4th, 2015 for a friendly match against Trinidad and Tobago. Henry Martin is one of the most prolific strikers in the current Liga MX set up with numerous records for Club America.

Before playing in the Liga MX, Henry Martin started his professional football career at Ascenso MX side,  Venados in 2013. In his single season at Venados, Martin scored 12 goals in 34 matches and this called the attention of Liga MX clubs to the potential of the player. Martin then completed a move to the top-flight side, Tijuana, to progress his career from the 2014/15 season.

At Tijuana, Henry Martin had a torrid time with the club, only scoring 12 goals in 94 games across 3 seasons. More worryingly was Henry Martin's return of just 5 Liga MX goals in 68 matches. In the summer of 2017, Henry Martin moved to Club America for another shot at the Liga MX and his form has truly improved. So far, the 28-year-old striker has scored 50 goals in 139 matches across the past 3 seasons. Overall, Henry Martin has scored 50 Liga MX goals in 210 appearances.

Henry Martin has been a full Mexican international for 6 years now and has played 16 matches in total for the side. His first call-up to the El-Tri was on 30th August 2015 by caretaker coach, Ricardo Ferretti. He made his debut for the El Tri on 4th September 2015 in the friendly against Trinidad and Tobago. He was called up as an over-age player to the Olympics team and thereby helping the team to win Bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Henry Martin has scored 4 goals for the Mexican National team, scoring his first goal against Costa Rica on 11th October 2018 in a friendly match. His next goals were against Guatemala and Panama in 2020 and 2021 respectively and both in friendly matches. His last goal so far for the El Tri was in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Jamaica.
