Mexico National Team has yet to play against Jamaica in Kingston and then receive Costa Rica and Panama in Estadio Azteca, but if they don’t win two of the three games and tie the other, the possibility of Gerardo “Tata” Martino leaving El Tri are high.

And the chances of him leaving are even higher after Yon de Luisa, FMF chairman, said that Martino doesn’t have his place guaranteed in El Tri. Reports also suggest that Martino is not feeling comfortable as he already tried to quit after the 2-1 defeat against Canada last November.

It’s rumored that Mexico National Team already has decided who will be his replacement if he fails to meet the goal that was set for the upcoming FIFA match window, Miguel Herrera, but nothing has transpired about Martino’s future if he leaves El Tri.
