Carlos Salcedo's novel at Tigres has dragged on for too long and the defender is still training at the club's facilities, as his transfer to Toronto FC of the MLS has still not been finalized after a week.

According to Mediotiempo, Yeferson Soteldo, for whom it is planned that the Titan will be traded, has not wanted to sign a contract with the UANL team, despite the fact that the two sides have already made arrangements.

The Venezuelan midfielder's representative is asking the feline board for more money after the rumors in Brazil about an alleged interest from Flamengo or Atlético Mineiro, although they have yet to make an offer.

Soteldo has already played in Brazil

Soteldo's name has been mentioned in Brazilian soccer to return after he shined with Santos before signing in the MLS with the Canadian team, but his salary does not fit in the budgets that the carioca teams manage.

Both the directors of Toronto FC and Tigres hope that the deal will be finalized by the end of this week and that Salcedo will be able to leave the institution, as he has signed a three-year contract with an option for one more year and a Designated Player salary.

But Soteldo's entourage will have to concede and sign with the Auriazules for the deal to be closed or, if it is the case, for Toronto to release the money that the feline board is looking for, which would be around US$4 million.

Salcedo was not in Tigres' social gathering

The Titan yesterday reported to the first team's training sessions at the Universitario Stadium, where he worked out in the gym and then left the facilities, despite the fact that the first team had planned a 'barbecue' at the venue, which served as a welcome for Igor Lichnovsky.

Miguel Herrera has not considered him for what seems to be his imminent departure from the club, since he did not call him up against Pumas in round 3 and will not use him until his future is defined, according to his words in the last few days.
