Even before he even had his debut in Liga MX, European teams were already looking to sign him, and according to his outstanding performances with Mexico National Team Academy squads, he was on pace to become a better player than Carlos Vela or even “Tecatito” Corona.

But after playing for only 64 minutes in Mexican top tier division on a game he had to leave on a stretcher after getting badly injured, he decided to join French side Lille OSC back in 2020, where he arrived as a free agent.

But now, after 18 months of contract, Eugenio Pizzuto is looking for a new team, as Lille OSC informed that they’re parting ways with the Mexican midfielder, who couldn’t even debut in Ligue 1 as he has sidelined for a variety of injuries.

What could happen to Eugenio Pizzuto’s career?

The 19-year-old still has a long career ahead of him if he manages to stay healthy. Especially on a year where the World Cup is set to be disputed, as his skills and abilities would be of much use to El Tri once he gains regularity. It’s said that Chivas might be looking to add him for Clausura 2022.
