Andrés Guardado, who did not see action in the Copa del Rey match between Betis and Sevilla, has just been involved in a massive scandal. The derby of shame will continue to bring problems. Betis beat Sevilla in a match that had to be played on two different days as a result of the aggression suffered by Joan Jordán when he was hit by an object from the stands.

Canales gave Betis the win in a closed-door match that went without a hitch, but when the referee blew the whistle, unexpected situations occurred again. Everything was going well until Andres Guardado appeared, as he apparently lost his head, not caring about the controversy that followed the strike on the rival player. Guardado mocked the aggression against Joan Jordán by simulating an impact against his head, throwing himself a water bottle, and falling to the ground.

The scene was caught on camera just before Rakitic was about to give his post-match flash interview to the television.

The video has already gone viral and it is expected that there will be some punishment for the Mexican because, in addition to the embarrassing gesture he made, he would be going against the Betis values, as it has already happened with other players of the club who have made similar acts.

Betis won the derby against Sevilla (2-1) and qualifies for Copa del Rey quarterfinals

In a match where 'Tecatito' has his debut, Betis qualified for the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey after beating Sevilla 2-1. It took two days to know the final result of the match. In the first half, Papu Gomez and Fekir scored two great goals that were only marred by the action against Jordan. After the game was suspended and restarted, although, with an empty stadium, the Betis were more effective in the final meters, and thanks to a goal by Canales they won the tie.

The match resumed with the stands empty and with part of the first half still to play where Juanmi scored but was disallowed for offside. In the second half, the game became more even and the spaces in the attack were reduced.

Betis was a little more in tune in the final meters and that's how the goal came. William Carvalho opened up Canales and the latter, with great temperance, had time to decide. The Betis player, with almost no angle, took a cross-shot to make it 2-1.

Sevilla's reaction was somewhat weak. Only Koundé came close to equalizing with a shot against the crossbar. Little more was seen from Lopetegui's team. Betis knew how to keep the result and with it qualify for the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey in a match that will go down in history for many factors.
