Cristiano Ronaldo was heavily criticised at Juventus during his time and is still getting lashed even after leaving the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018 and instantly became a fan favourite but the favour would not last as both fans and former players of the club turned on him with many claiming he offers nothing to the team is affecting the balance of the team.

Ronaldo's latest round of criticisms is from the Juventus captain Georginio Chiellini who said the Portuguese disrupted the psychological balance by leaving the club late. Ronaldo left Juventus for Manchester United on August 28 but Chiellini said it should have been earlier so the team would focus.

"He left on August 28th, I’m sure it would have been better for us if he had left earlier. It’s something we paid for. It would have been better if he had left on August 1st, we would have had time to organise ourselves, we wouldn’t have been thinking only about [Cristiano] and we would have begun the championship better prepared.” Chiellini said.

Juventus started the season slowly but have gradually picked up and are seventh on the Serie A table 14 points and also top of their UEFA Champions League group, a group that also have defending champions Chelsea.
