Fans of the team coached by Xavi thought the team would make an epic comeback, but although they tried, they could not against the Eagles.

Although it was not the only goal, Rafael Santos Borré's strike was so spectacular that it undoubtedly became the goal of the match, due to how impressive it was.

This is what Rafael Santos Borré Maury's goal was like

The Colombian striker's goal came in the 36th minute when he received a pass in the midfield, and he drove the ball close to the rival area to profile in front of the goal, so everyone thought he would give a service to the area.

But before Barcelona's defenders could react, the Colombian took a precise and impressive shot that Marc-André ter Stegen was unable to stop.

With that goal, the match was 0-2, as FC Barcelona would not show signs of life until the 90th minute of the second half, already out of regulation time and although they tried to get back into the match, they did not manage to do so in time.

Barcelona vs Frankfurt: here are the other goals of the match

The first goal of the match came in the 4th minute, which was an omen that the match would be an uphill struggle for FC Barcelona. The goal came from a penalty when Eric García brought down Lindstrom. The former was cautioned and the penalty was awarded in Frankfurt's favor.

Filip Kostic was awarded the penalty, which he scored to put his team up 0-1. And in the 36th minute of the match, Rafael Santos Borré Maury scored.

But it would not be the only one, as Filip Kostic would make it a double as he repeated in the 67th minute when he received a pass and headed into the opponent's box on the left side diagonally.

When he was already in front of the Barcelona goal, he crossed a shot against which Ter Stegen could do nothing, to seal the 0-3 match. But it would not be the last goal of the match, as in the 90th minute, Busquets scored.

Seeing a ball bounce out of the box and heading towards him, Busquets got his powder ready and fired into the Frankfurt goal to make it 1-3.

And in stoppage time Memphis Depay would do the same with a ruthless penalty kick, but his and Busquets' effort was of little use, as Barcelona said goodbye to the UEFA Europa League.
