A lot of music stars have been involved in soccer teams. Elton John invested in his lifelong club Watford, and Robbie Williams did the same with his beloved Port Vale. But Taylor Swift has been told she has been contributing indirectly and unknowingly to this club, like some sort of talisman.
And it is not any club. It is Corinthians, a club that won the Club World Cup twice, being the only team in South America with that honor lifting the trophy in 2000 and 2012. This is because a fan checked some dates and found out a funny fact that went viral as 'The Taylor Swift rule'.
In this called rule, Corinthians never lost when Taylor Swift released an album. Not the match prior to the release nor the following. Her eight albums mark, according to Corinthians fans, 16 matches were the Timao went unbeaten, being the first 14 years ago and the latest last July.
That funny discovery made her a celebrity for Corinthians people, who will surely get mad when she releases her next piece of work. With Corinthians going through bad results, the most superstitious Timao fans will thank her for what she did for their club, making Corinthians shake it off.
