Chivas will try to improve their performance in the playoffs, after a bad regular season. The team coached by Víctor Vucetich stands at the ninth position, after earning 22 points in 15 matches played. Even though the pass to the tournament Guard1anes next stage is assured, the performance of the team hasn't been good.

Both sport adviser Ricardo Peláez and Vucetich are working on the squad for the next season and some new players are going to be needed. The coach clarified on the press conference that, even though the team counts on good players now, they may be needing two or three players more.

On social media fans always express their intentions of recovering Alan Pulido or Rodolfo Pizarro. Both players are now at the MLS. Pulido plays for Sporting Kansas City, that signed him for €8.6 million on January 2020 and Pizarro for Inter Miami, that paid €10.9 million to Monterrey for him.

Despite what fans prefer, it is very hard to think that one of this two top players may be going back to Liga MX soon. Vucetich will try to take his team as far as possible on the playoffs and, in the next season, he will try to get urgently an attacker, as J.J. Macías may be leaving soon, and a midfielder.
