The agent of players such as Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pogba, and Haaland already had to undergo surgery last January at the San Rafael hospital in Milan and La Gazzetta dello Sport even reported at the time that the agent would have to be under continuous observation.

An agent from an early age

Born in Italy in 1967, Mino Raiola is one of the most important agents on the current soccer scene, having worked as such since the late 1980s. His clients include names such as Bergkamp, Robinho, Balotelli, De Ligt, Donnarumma and Moise Kean.

The Italian agent emigrated as a child to the Netherlands, where he grew up and played for HFC Haarlem's youth team. Raiola made a name for himself in negotiating the signing of then young Dutch striker Dennis Bergkamp to Inter Milan.

A very mediatic agent

Raiola is one of the most mediatic agents and had a reputation for being a tough negotiator. In these last few transfer markets, his name has appeared strongly, as the signing of Haaland is the main move expected alongside that of Frenchman Mbappé.

The Italian agent is also on the Forbes list of the richest, as in 2020 he earned a total of $85 million according to this list.

In recent years Raiola, along with other agents such as Jorge Mendes and Jonathan Barnett, had created an association of representatives that conflicted with FIFA.
