Mauro Boselli will be a free agent in a couple of days, after the contract that he signed with Corinthians reaches an end. The attacker aged 35 has not agreed to renew the contract and with the Brazilian side and is now ready to leave, with many clubs from the continent interested on him.

Boselli had a bad time at Corinthians, club in which he suffered due to many changes of head coaches. He arrived there for free on January 2019 and since then he scored 12 goals and gave four assists on 43 matches played. His numbers are far away from those he showed on his professional career.

After it was known that the attacker will leave Brazil, it is talked that there are several chances of him returning to the Liga MX. The club with more chances to sign him is León, where he is an idol. The forward played there since 2013 to 2019, scoring 130 goals in 221 matches and being the second all-time scorer of the team.

León will try to give Boselli the chance of retiring with their jersey, even though both parts have yet to arrange their contract. Formed in Boca Juniors, he played for Málaga, Estudiantes, Wigan, Genoa, US Palermo, León and Corinthians in his career. Another Mexican side interested on him, according to local press, is Querétaro.
