Diego Maradona was one of the greatest soccer legends. But there is a less known side of him. He was also an actor, having his scene in a 1981 Argentinian movie, when Diego was 20 years old. And that is not all, he predicted what he was going to do in the 1986 World Cup. He had caught the attention with his great performances in the U-20 World Cup of 1979, where Argentina won and he was the best player.

In this movie, called Te rompo el rating, the protagonist is a clumsy TV reporter that appears in awkward moments. Maradona was still playing for his first club, Argentinos Juniors. He was playing a game and was about to score a great goal to become champions for the first time ever, but the reporter stopped him just before he scores and asked him questions while his coach yelled him to make it.

This goal Maradona almost scored was very similar to the Goal of the Century, the one he scored versus England in 1986 World Cup quarterfinals, right after the goal of the Hand of God. But in this case, Maradona got distracted, the keeper took the ball from him and the reporter accused Diego of missing the most important goal of his life.

Some months after the movie was released, Maradona was transferred to Boca Juniors, where he won his first club title. Then his European spell came, where he played for FC Barcelona, Napoli and Seviila before going back to Boca Juniors. And by the way, Argentinos Juniors could win its first title ever anyway, three years before Maradona left and with no reporters disturbing.
