Luis Figo was one of the Portuguese major idols of all-time. The midfielder showed an incredible quality since his very first matches on first division and played in some of the most important clubs ever, leaving an outstanding legacy that will be remembered for long.
But, as it happens to all the soccer players, their professional career ends sooner than others. Since his retirement, Figo has been doing all type of work, including being agent from advisers for UEFA. The figure showed all his versatility on his new functions after he stopped playing soccer.
During the last weeks it was reported that Figo reached a new agreement and entered to a new business. With his wife Svedin he has been the model of a haute couture brand called Pedro del Hierro, from the Spanish designer who has that name and is an icon in the industry.
With such agreement, he continues to expand his fortune. Figo was born as a player at Sporting, where he played until July 1995, when FC Barcelona paid $3 million for him to sign him. Just five years later, the playmaker moved to Real Madrid in an historical transfer for $60 million and then to Inter, where he retired.
