Ronaldo Nazario was one of the best Brazilian players of all-times. But, since his retirement, the international press has been looking for the successor of the no. 9. One of those appeared during the 2000s. He played for Flamengo, but rapidly he was sold to Inter for $15 million and stayed many years at Europe.

He is Adriano, the Brazilian forward now aged 38. During his career he played for Fiorentina, AC Parma, AS Roma, Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Athletico Paranaense and Miami United, despite Inter and Flamengo. He stopped playing professionally on May 2016, after his time at the America side.

During his career, Adriano made a lot of money, was one of the best attackers of the world and ones of those in charge of overcoming Ronaldo Nazario. But the decisions he took were not favorable for his economy. After many rumors, the Brazilian press discovered that he was going through a big crisis.

From being an international famous star, compared to the best players in the world, Adriano passed to live back in the Brazilian Favela’s having just a small amount of money. Due to his image and his fame, he could recover a bit during the last years, but nothing went back to be what it was one day.
