The incredible story of a Mexican legend that played with Diego Maradona and Rivaldo at the same time

Playing with Diego Maradona could have been the dream of any soccer player when he was little or when he was already a professional. There was a Mexican player who could not only play a game with Diego Maradona but also that same day with Rivaldo. Surely he can never forget the day he passed the ball to Diego Maradona.

While Rivaldo was at Olympiakos he shared a team with former Mexican national team player Nery Castillo. During their time on the Greek team, both Rivaldo and Nery Castillo were the stars of Olympiakos and led their team to the top of the Greek tournament. In the 2005/2006 season they had the pleasure of playing alongside Maradona.

During the championship celebrations, Diego Maradona appeared one day to play for a while with Nery Castillo and Rivaldo. The historic Mexican player was able to enjoy taking a photo with Diego Maradona and Rivaldo at the same time. Both Rivaldo and Diego Maradona were two of the best players in history and Nery Castillo was able to be with them at the same time.

Nery Castillo had a great time at Olympiakos where together with Rivaldo they took his team to the top. The level that Nery Castillo showed at Olympiacos was so high that when he retired he admitted that leaving the Greek club was the worst mistake of his career. Nery Castillo was an excellent player and he has to be proud to have been in a team with Diego Maradona and Rivaldo at the same time.
