Carlos Valderrama was one of the most emblematic Colombian players ever. He transformed into a legend with the national team and playing for Colombian sides, as well as in the MLS. His retirement occurred on 2002 and since then, he had been involving himself into all type of businesses.

One of those new businesses in which Valderrama involved himself is the alcohol production. During the last months, he has opened a factory in which he is producing a hard liquor, very frequent in his country, known as Júbilo. It is a premium brand between many that exists at Colombia.

Valderrama was also accompanied by Édgar Rentería, ex baseball player who is 45 years old. Both Colombians complete the businesses that is making them earn fortunes, as it was reported during the last weeks by local press. It’s just another way in which they are gaining fortunes, after his retirement.

The professional career from Valderrama started on Union Magdalena at January 1984. The midfielder also played for Millonarios, Deportivo Cali, Montpellier, Real Valladolid, Independiente Medellín, Junior FC, Tampa Bay, Miami Fusion, and Colorado Rapids.
