There were many Brazilian players set to become into the successor of top idols, as Ronaldo Nazario and Ronaldinho. The legends from the 2000s marked an era, playing in very important European teams, as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter or AC Milan, and ended being World Champions as well.

One of those players set to transform into the new Ronaldo was born in Campina Grande 34 years ago. His strength, his personality and his capacity to score goals make the comparison with the historical striker possible. He is Hulk, despite his complete name is Givanildo Vieira de Souza.

The attacker ended his time outside his country and decided to return to Brazil. Hulk was formed in Sao Paulo, but played for Porto, Zenit, Shanghai SIPG, Kawasaki Frontale, Tokyo Verdy, C’Dole Sapporo and Vitória. After more than 15 years since he left Brazil, he decided to return to follow the steps of Ronaldinho.

Dinho once joined Atlético Mineiro, in 2012, when he left Flamengo as a free agent, and where he won the Copa Libertadores. Hulk was just arrived to the same club and talked wonders about the playmaker. Ronaldinho played there 73 matches, scoring 24 goals, giving 24 assists and having an impressive performance that now Hulk will try to imitate.
