Ronaldinho's in full economic revival. After his five-month stay in prison in Paraguay, he managed to close various financial agreements, such as the launch of a musical theme or the promotion of his gin brand. However, he recently received the news that he will collect the juicy figure of 6.3 million reais for an image rights lawsuit with Atlético Mineiro, a club in which he won the 2013 Copa Libertadores.

At the time of hiring him, the Belo Horizonte club had promised to pay him 13 million to use his image rights until the end of his stay. However, 5.6 million of that amount were not paid and the Brazilian star decided to take the case to court.

Finally, the ruling was in favor of the former Barcelona footballer and it was resolved that Mineiro must pay him 6.3 million in ten installments until October 2023.

Ronaldinho arrived at Galo in June 2012 and remained until 2014. In total, he played 85 games in which he scored 27 goals and distributed 22 assists, in addition to obtaining a Copa Libertadores and a Recopa Sudamericana.

Ronaldinho, from "hell" to "heaven"

Ronaldinho's last months were chaotic. On the one hand, he went into bankruptcy due to various financial problems, he was in jail in Paraguay for trying to enter that country with illegal documentation and his mother, Doña Miguelina, also died as a result of COVID-19. However, in the same way that he left the rivals on the road when he played, Dinho recovered and is currently becoming a millionaire again.
