It is not unknown that FC Barcelona is going through bad times. Nobody at the club is happy with what is happening there. Board, coach and players are trying their best to solve the crisis. Some are doing better than others, and those are getting recognition by their good performances.

That is the case of the young Pedri. At 18 years old, he came almost out of nowhere and established as a regular starter over players who costed over 100 million euros. And Ronald Koeman told that Spain national team should call him up for the Euros 2021. That statement was heard by another FC Barcelona, Rivaldo, and he did not like it.

According to Diario Sport, the Brazilian said Pedri should not be getting that kind of message that could put a lot of pressure on him, given his age. Rivaldo told that if the youngster is not taken care of, he will be ruined, and the veterans should take the responsibility of the situation and not put it all on the shoulders of a 18-year-old.

Rivaldo was the star of FC Barcelona at the beginning of 2000 decade, and was a mentor for some young players at the time who then became stars, like Xavi Hernandez and Carles Puyol. He said he would like to come back to the club he loves as part of the board and contribute to end the crisis.
