How many teams qualify from Concacaf?

The top three teams in the qualifiers at the conclusion of the Final Round will advance directly to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, while the fourth-place team will play a two-game playoff in June 2022.

After 10 games, Canada ranks first with 22 points, leading the Octagonal. The United States are in second place and Mexico in third, both with 18 points, but the Stars and Stripes are one place ahead due to a better goal difference. These three teams, momentarily, are getting the automatic ticket to Qatar.

On the other hand, Panama are in fourth place with 17 points and are getting half a ticket to Qatar, as they would face a playoff against another nation from another continent in a round-robin match to earn a place in the World Cup.

Costa Rica remains in the fight in fifth place with 13 points, looking for the playoffs while El Salvador with 10 points in sixth place, Jamaica in seventh place with 7 points, and Honduras in last place with 3 points, are practically eliminated.
