The teams that can qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup are:

Who are the favorites?

Canadá

The favorites to qualify in the first place are the Canadians, who already have 25 points from 11 games played and are undefeated since the start of the octagonal. A win against Costa Rica on Thursday, March 24, would virtually seal their participation in the World Cup in Qatar.

México

Mexico is the second favorite team to secure its place in the World Cup in Qatar. Although the team coached by Gerardo Martino is tied with the United States with 21 points but are in third place on goal difference, they will have the opportunity to face Gregg Berhalter's team at the Azteca stadium, a condition that gives them an advantage over the team of the Stars and Stripes.

USMNT

The United States will face Mexico, a direct rival for second place, Panama, who are looking for fourth place in the playoffs, and Costa Rica, who are in fifth place and want to snatch that fourth place from Panama. The Stars and Stripes will surely lose points in any of the three matches, and that is why we put Mexico ahead of Gregg Berhalter's squad.

Panamá

Panama will face difficult matches against USMNT and Canada, however, their key match is against Honduras on March 24, if they win that game, we believe that the Panamanians will hardly leave the fourth ticket to the playoffs.

Costa Rica

Luis Fernando Suarez's team will face Canada, Honduras, and the United States. In order to snatch that place from Panama, they would have to get at least 4 points, a situation that looks difficult when facing Canada and the United States, their hope will be against El Salvador on March 27.
