Jose Mourinho is not easy, nobody doubts that he is a great coach, but he is having some serious injury problems. Gareth Bale is training since he arrived, but his knee problem persists. Also, he is in a battle with Gareth Southgate because the English coach kept Harry Kane on the list of players in Nations League.
One more problem, now Giovani Lo Celso will miss this weekend’s Premier League match. Fortunately, the results are working for Tottenham as he demolished Manchester United before the international break, and they now want to build on this path.
Lo Celso has had a stop-start season so far due to injury problems, but he’s scored two goals in five appearances. His performances are good for the team, so who is going to replace him? Tottenham has several options for the attacking midfielder such as Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura.
There is also a chance for Heung-Min son to play there, but Mourinho’s choice is to set him as a forward. Ndombele and Sissoko would be good choices bot for a more defensive team. It would be interesting to see Lo Celso playing the next week when Tottenham face LASK.
