According to the Daily Star, Paul Pogba could join Real Madrid for free in 2022. The 28-year-old midfielder intends to end the year of his contract with Manchester United and reach the Spanish team free.

The Frenchman's link with the English team culminates in June 2022 and, for the moment, the player has not accepted the offers offered him from the Red Devils. It should be noted that the Real Madrid transfer market has been paralyzed due to the economic measures imposed by La Liga after the lockdown. Because of this, Spanish teams would be preparing to rebound in the next market. 2022 could be a key year for Real Madrid, as it could count on the possible arrival of Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland.

French media assure that the Real is thinking of making an offer. The newspaper L'Equipe announced that President Florentino Pérez will wait until the last days of the transfer market (August 31 in Europe) to make the proposal of 150 million dollars.

The 22-year-old Frenchman is living his last year of contract at PSG, and in January of next year he will be able to freely start negotiations in case he does not accept the extension of the link with the club. According to Marca, the attacker would have rejected a six-year renewal offer from Paris Saint-Germain with a salary similar to that of Neymar.
