Juventus are in control of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group H after securing a 1-0 victory over European champions and fellow group favourites, Chelsea. The Old Lady have won all games and are yet to concede in the competition.

Massimiliano Allegri's men opened their group campaign against Malmö and won 3-0, consecutive 1-0 victories over Chelsea and Zenit St Petersburg put Juventus on top of the group with Chelsea closely behind on six points.

Juventus could secure qualification if they beat Zenit St Petersburg again tonight but the battle of who will top the group could be down to the return leg of the match between Chelsea and Juventus at Stamford Bridge. Juventus will be on 12 points if they win which makes it mathematically impossible for Malmö and Zenit to catch them.

The Italians are having one of their worst starts to a league campaign in the Italian Serie A. They currently sit ninth with just 15 points from 10 games and Allegri branded his side a mid table club after a shock loss to Verona at the weekend.
