Barcelona can’t sleep while we approach to the end of Lionel Messi‘s contract with the club. The Argentinian master is attached to the Camp Nou until June 30, and the chances of a renewal are absolutely uncertain. The club’s biggest fear is to lose the most important player ever on a free transfer.

Of course, the club’s intention is to keep him in the team with for at least one more year, and renew his contract. But it’s obvious it will not be easy, if they want to succeed, they must build a very good plan. And they certainly did since they have at least of players that for sure Messi would love to welcome on board. It’s not only about offering a good salary or a pretty house.

There is a noticeably big star on the radar for Barcelona. But at the same time, it could be the most unrealistic target considering the club is in a very tough financial situation. Despite that they think they are capable of being over $130 million to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland. But at the same time, they want to surround Messi with some good friends and lots of talent from his national team.

Just like Messi, there is another free agent that could be desired by many European big clubs. It is Sergio Agüero who seems that will not renew his contract with Manchester City. Agüero is the present and past of Argentina’s national team, but Barcelona would also like to join Messi with the present and future. That is why they could pay over 130 million to sign Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.
