The real reasons why DC United fired coach Olsen

Not surprisingly, DC United decided to kick coach Ben Olsen out as his stint at DC United has been disastrous. He didn't even have Wayne Rooney on his team to be able to fight in the MLS Playoffs. DC United will need to find a new trained coach if they want to fight to win the MLS Cup ever in their history.

The players believe that they have a better level and that they should be fighting to enter the playoffs and not last with only 2 games won.

Ben Olsen's stats managing DC United are appalling. In total he directed 362 games in which he had an average of 1.33 points, meaning that most of his games he lost. He is currently at the top of the MLS standings and has only been able to win one game, having the worst percentage in the entire MLS.

The MLS playoff word seems to be forbidden in Olsen's vocabulary since in the 10 years he was coach of the only qualifier in 6 occasions, of which in only one he was able to win a game. In the last 5 years DC United have not played a single Playoff game, being the worst team in MLS without a doubt
