Lionel Messi has become the protagonist of the news in France. Not because he scored his first goal with PSG, but because of information from the newspaper ‘L’Equipe’ that reveals his salary at the French club. According to the aforementioned media, the genius of Rosario would earn 110 million euros in the three-year contract signed with the French club, a figure that would be "very far from reality", said Leonardo de Araújo, sports director of the French institution.

“We didn't like it. It is very far from the truth, in the duration and in the figures. There are confidentiality clauses, but I can assure you that it is not the truth”, Leonardo told reporters about the information from‘ L’Equipe ’before coach Mauricio Pochettino’s press conference prior to the game against Lyon.

On the eve of the Argentine's training session at the Parc des Princes with the PSG jersey, 'L'Equipe' published the player's giant's salary: at least 110 million euros in three years. "The duration of the contract is two years and not three," Leonardo rectified. "It is a lack of respect. I don't understand the moment, but it is your problem”, he told reporters. "And one cannot be wrong in content like that," he insisted.
