The Guardian released a list of the 60 most promising future stars of soccer. The young D.C. United's offensive midfielder, Moses Nyeman, aged 16, appears on the list. In fact, he is the only MLS player on the reputed list that is issued every year by the prestigious English newspaper.

The United States national team has already set its sights on the 16-year-old who has already been chosen to represent the country in the U16. But Nyemen was born in Liberia and he can still be contacted to represent the African country. To prevent that from happening, Nyemen must make his debut with the United States's senior national team.

Nyeman is a talented area-to-area midfielder. He started his career at Borussia Dortmund U19, playing more than 300 minutes. On August 30th he made his first appearance with first team D.C. United's senior team. Nyeman registers 7 appearances in the Red and Black that until a few days ago was coached by Ben Olsen.

Moses Nyeman follows the footsteps of young promises from the United States such as Gianluca Busio of Sporting Kansas City and Giovanni Reyna, of Borussia Dortmund. The trio played together at the last U17 World Cup with the United States. Now, Nyeman is starting to show signs of his talents at professional level.
