Sergio Ramos puts Zinedine Zidane to shame and exploits the intern at Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos is not going through his best moment and was absent in the last matches from Real Madrid, after reporting some stomach problems. Head coach Zinedine Zidane decided to gave his captain a rest in the start of 2021, while many fans and the local press rumored that the defender was showing his lack of responsibility. 

Real Madrid faced this Thursday a very hard game, against Athletic Club for the semifinals of the Spanish Supercup, that ended with a defeat 2-1. Ramos played the game, the second one in the year, and had a very poor performance. Many blamed Zidane for rushing him, saying that he was not yet ready to be back in such an important match.

With this defeat, the Galacticos won’t be playing the decisive game against FC Barcelona, that defeated Real Sociedad this week and gained a ticket to the final. The problem between Ramos and Zidane seems to be big and involves the decision of president Florentino Pérez.

Ramos is angry at the club he joined 15 years ago, after they didn’t make him an offer to renew his contract last season. The actual one expires on June 2021, which means that he could now negotiate as a free agent to leave to where he wants to. The relationship has turned tense and seems very hard to be recomposed.
