Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric put fire in Real Madrid's divided dressing room

Today, Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid 2-0 for the city derby for Spanish League. It was a very difficult and important victory for the squad managed by Zinedine Zidane. And after some conflicts in the dressing room regarding the support to the French, the most important players of the roster used the situation to support the coach.

Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric are unarguably the main players of the club since Cristiano Ronaldo left. Not only inside the pitch, they also are the leaders in the dressing room. And both are in the pro Zidane side of the dispute. They think these good matches the team had have happened thanks to Zidane.

So what Ramos did was an Instagram post in which he remarked the team effort, something that Zidane got a reputation for encouraging on his players. And Modric supported Ramos in his claim commenting 'my great captain', reassuring why does he wears the armband.

Real Madrid has gone through a very positive week, with the derby win and the qualification to RO16 in UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, with another 2-0 against Borussia Mönchengladbach. These good results will surely keep the Zidane doubters quiet for a while.
